Betty – Beatrice actually, my five year old daughter – had exhausted herself of all the costly forms of entertainment we bought for her. We got her a PlayStation the day it was released, and even before its first proper review could hit the stands, Betty has tired herself of the PS. Betty was bored, frustrated and that showed in her marks. We do believe that a happy kid could do well at school. Let me also add that our neighborhood does not have too many kids Betty's age, so she was all the more sadder.

Then, one day, this Dance Dance Revolution in an arcade caught my eye. I thought, what the hell!, this is the thing Betty would like. I asked the arcade owner and she told me that the Dance Dance Revolution is available for homes. And what's more, I could simply upgrade my existing PS with the DDR dance pad. I was quite optimistic about it, and got it the very next day.

And I hit bull's eye! It's more than six months now that DDR became a part of our shack, and it is still aces. Betty does spend a very interesting hour on it – morning, afternoon or evening, anytime when she feels like – and I really find her more enthusiastic in every thing she does. She finds it very interesting to play a game according to the music, stepping on the dance pad along with the beats. She has become very fast and agile, as we can clearly see.

Not just her, but even my wife likes Dance Dance Revolution immensely. I don't know how to say it without demeaning her, but she was getting bigger in size the some months ago. Then she took on to Dance Dance Revolution. And now she looks upon it as her fitness center at home. It is quite surprising for me to see her jumping away on DDR for two hours at a stretch sometimes – this is the same woman who did not want to jog a mile earlier!

It was a very lucky day I got Dance Dance Revolution in my home. When my wife and kid allow me, I too get into my shorts and play away like a school kid on this amazing game. DDR has improved our little nest. It is time now that you gave it a chance.
